Reserving Tee Times/Cancellations and No Shows: When making tee times either online or via phone call to Pro Shop, please provide other member or guest names that are expected to be a part of your grouping. Also, a reminder that we have a 24-hour cancellation policy for Member Tee Times. If you have a tee time reserved and have not cancelled it in advance per the 24-hour cancellation policy and do not show up for the time, your member account will be billed accordingly.
Golf Handicaps/USGA GHIN: If you are a member of The Club at Grand Traverse and are keeping your Golf Handicap/Index thru GTRS, we will set you up for automatic renewal for the 2025 season. If you do not wish to keep your Golf Handicap/Index with us for the 2025 season, please contact Tom McGee to let him know and your Index and Golf Association of Michigan (G.A.M.) Membership will not renew. We’ll be billing the G.A.M. fees to your account in April 2025. Tom can be reached in the Clubhouse, tom.mcgee@gtresort.com or 231-534-6475.
Clubhouse Lockers: If you currently have a locker in the Clubhouse, but do not wish to renew for the 2025, please turn your key into Tom McGee. Locker fees for the 2025 season will remain the same at $100/season/locker and will be billed to member accounts in June 2025.
Winter Club Storage: We recommend you take you golf clubs with you at season’s end, but if you wish to leave them with us, you may do so. Our Bag and Cart Attendants are here to assist.
Winter Golf Operations: The Grille will turn into our Winter TrackMan operation scheduled to start in mid-November, where we’ll have two TrackMan simulators set up. We will also have a separate GTRS Member League. The Golf Academy will have reduced hours this winter. More information to come on the winter golf options in the next newsletter.
